ADDITIONAL SCHOOL HOLIDAY
TO COMMEMORATE DUKE OF YORK’S VISIT. Wellington. Last Night. The Governor-General has received the following telegram from His Koval Highness, the Duke of York: “The Duchess and l hope very much that every school in New Zealand may be given an extra holiday at Easter to commemorate our visit. (Signed) ALBERT.” Ilis Excellency has replied to the following effect: <‘Yoim* Royal jHighness’s kind thought for the children is deeply appreciated by the Government and people of New Zealand. The Government is in communication with the Boards of Education and other controlling'authorities with a view to giving effect to Your Royal Highnesses’ wishes. (Signed), Governor-General.
