Good news for Easter bridegrooms, in (he nature of a carpet drive, is announced by Collinson and Cunninghame, Ltd. Prices for quality carpets are very low. On Saturday next the Plunket Society will hold a shop day in aid of the funds of the local branch. Gifts and donations may be left at the shop on Saturday morning. In our advertising columns today’it will be noticed that the Horowhenua Electric Power Board intimates to its consumers that owing to necessary work at Mangahao, the Power will be cut off for a short space at midnight on Saturday, the 9th instant, and for about two hours on Sunday afternoon, the 10th instant.
