LOCAL SCHOOL COMPETITORS
The following pupils of the primary department of the Foxton District High School will compete for the McKelvie Shield at the Sandon Sports on Saturday next: — Boys.—Under 10 years, (50 and 75 yards): Allen Judd, Bernard Yorke, Royce Evans; under 11 years, (75 and 100 yards): Cliff Carmont, Rolex Howe, Colin Chrystall; under I*2 years, (100 and 150 yards): Georgo Coley, Nelson Walls, Ken Rossitcr; under 13 years, (100 and 150 yards): Leicester Thompson, Keith Robinson, Reg Coley; under 14 years, (100 and 150 yards): Bert Coley, Gerald Hirini, Albert Skipper; under 15 years, (100 and 220 yards): Reg Rickerby, Lai Man, Willie Baird. Girls.—Under 10 years, (50 and 75 yards): Joan Barron, Violet Bottaroff, Eileen Leaver; under 11 years, (50 and 75 yards): Elsie Thompson, Connie Robinson, Nina Bottaroff; under 12 years, (75 and 100 yards): Greta Coley, Margaret Stevenson, May McKnight; under 13 years, (75 and 100 yards): Jean Coley, Sylvia Williams, Ada Roore; under 14 years, (100 and 150 yards): Molly Downes, Iris McEweu, - Hope Thynne; under 15 years, (100 and 150 yards): Margaret Barron, Myrtle Gay, Rose Munn. Teams to represent the school will be chosen from the above to compete for the Hobson Shield at the Levin Sports on Saturday, April 9th.
