LORRY DRIVER CHARGED. Hamilton, Alarcli 19. At the inquest on Alice Myra Morris, aged 18, the Coroner (Mr. Wyvern Wilson, S.M.), returned a verdict that, the girl met her death through being run over by a lorry, allegedly negligently and dangerously driven by Edward Aliller Rouse. Witnesses stated that the lorry turned the elorner on the wrong side. The girl suffered a fracture of the jaw, cheekbone, neck, and base of the skull, besides other injuries, death being instantaneous. Rouse was arrested on a charge of alleged negligent and dangerous driving, thereby causing the death of the girl. Bail was allowed, one surety of £SO, and a remand granted tili Wednesday.
