inGH COAIAUSSIONER’S REPORT. The High Commissioner’s cable, dated 19th inst., reads: — Manila.market is easier, closing steady; J grade, March-Afay shipments quoted sellers £43. Output, Ist January to 28th February, 196,000 bales, against 216,000 for same period last year. Stocks in Alanila at 28th February 110,000, against 168,000 bales; in Great Britain 4,103, against 23,534. Sisal market firmer, but closes quiet, sellers quoting No. 1 £37 155,-and No. 2 £36 15s, with no buyers. New Zealand market dull for forward shipments of high-points and fair, but somewhat better demand for common and rejected; dose at hand position all qualities meet moderate demand values nominally unchanged. Stocks in London at 28th February 18 tons, against 36 tons.
