* TREASURER’S STATEMENT. . The treasurer reported as follows at Monday night’s meeting of the Foxton Borough Council: — During the month of February the sum of ,6725 11s 4d was received and banked! as follows': —Cemetery account £3 17s 6d; drainage construction loan account £34 15s 4d; District Fund account £686 18s Cd,
The ledger balances at the 28th February were as, follows: Accounts at debit, totalled £897 17s 3d and were made up a.s follows: Imprest cash £10; gasworks £4l 7s 4d; hospital and charitable aid IL3 Ids lOd, interest £772 7s Id; Town Halt £60.0s Od. The accounts at credit were: — Cemetery £133 9s 2d; drainage construction loan £197 Gs 9d; general £371 Os 8d; library £lOl 13s Gd; reserves £l9(i 0s 3d; roads and streets £llBB 2s Id; Town Hall pictures £l3O 8s 8d; Town Hall No. 2 £422 -12 s sd; waterworks £lO5 Gs 2d.
