The match for the Kinneburgh Feathers between Levin and Shannon on Saturday resulted in a win for Levin, this being life eleventh occasion on which the home team has successfully defended the FeaHkj’s. The scores were as under: — Xievin.—.Clements, Percy, Bull, Suhan (skip) 27. Shannon. —Butt, Blackwood, Bovis, Gagliatdi (skip) It). CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS. The Champion of Champions singles competition, under the auspices of the Manawatu Bowling Centre was held on the Manawatu Club’s green on Saturday. The tourney was conducted on the “sudden death” principle, 21 beads being played in each game. Shannon, Levin, Manawatu, Terrace End, Northern, Palmerston North, Ekelahuna, Takaro, and Danuevirkc dubs wen* represented. The competition resulted in Tantrum (Takaro) beating Roach (Shannon) by 22-8 jn I lie final.
