GOODS TRAIN DELAYED,

Palmerston North,' February 21. A goods train running from Marton to Palmerston North on Saturday night ran into a sleeper which lay across the line at Terraco End, and after the train had been stop ped examination showed that the cow-catcher had been buckled. After a short delay the train proceeded to Palmerston North, reaching the station! before midnight.
