SHANNON v. FOXTON A. The above teams met on the Shannon Domain on Saturday. Tho home team, who batted first, declared I heir innifigs closed with the loss of six wickets for a total of 15(1 runs. The visitors failed to make a stand against the local bowling, with the result that when t heir innings closed they had only registered 80 runs. The ex-High School boys, Roach and Picard, contri(buted largely to Shannon’s score, the former, after having a life before opening his scoring account, notching 53 runs; while the latter knocked up 41 runs not out. The other double figure scorers were Cliff Hunt 13, Spring 12, and P. Morgan 10. Foxton opened weak, losing three wickets for 19 runs, Roach capturing the three wickets in oho over.
