About 200 children together with adults, travelled to Foxton Beach yesterday for their annual school picnic. The weather was all that could be desired and a very enjoyable day was spent on the beach, in the sea, and among the shady plantations. Light refreshments were provided by the Committee who were assisted by Mr. F. W. Moore (headmaster) and all Iris staff. The picnic arrangements wore in the capable hands of Messrs C. H. Whitehead (chairman) and Gilbert Lvne, (secretary). i

The party left the Reach at 6 pan. and arrived in Palmerston North about 7.15 pan.
