TENNIS CLUB.

The final of a series -of “500” card tournaments was held last Tuesday evening at Mi’s Pearson’s residence. The following were the winners of the various prizes.— Ladies: Miss W. Syrnes, 1; Miss A. Syrnes-, 2. Gentlemen: Mi’. R. McMurray, 1; Mr. R. Shaw, 2. The aggregate prize was woh by Mrs R. Bryant and Mr. D. McMurray. At the conclusion of the evening the president of the Tennis Club presented Mrs Pearson, on behalf of the Club, with a Pyrex dish, remarking that the Club greatly appreciated her kindness in giving the use of her rooms. Mrs Pearson suitably replied.

The Tennis Club dance, to have been held in the Masonic Hall tomorrow evening has been postponed and will be held on Saturday evening. Good floor; music and supper.
