Smith, Newson 15 seo l , Gupwell, Coley 25 sec, Cribb, Taylor, Williams 35 sec, I. Wright, W. Wright, O’Reilly 45 sec, Satheriey CO sec, Newth, Hirini, Royal 70 sec, Pariitt, Sharpe, Chrystall 80 see, R. Honour 5 min. A Grade, championship, 3 laps:— G. Aldridge, D. Knott, C. Shortt, D. Satheriey, G. Coley, P. Honour, W. Marshall, K. Martin, C. Huff, H. Huff, Robinson, C. Newson, Simpson.
Several ears and a lorry load of Foxton cycling enthusiasts went to Levin last, night to see “Patty!’ Lamlb, the Australian champion ride at the Levin meeting. Lamb rode in two .races and annexed a first place in one but was not placed in the latter.’ Local opinion is that he was “off polour”.with so much travelling about.
