The official programme in connection with the.pending visit to Palmerston North of the Duke and Duchess of York was for Warded by the Minister of Internal Affairs to to-night’s meeting of the Borough Council. ' 1 The programme is as follows: — Thursday, ' March 3.—-At 5.40 p.m.' Their Royal Highnesses arrive and will he received at the railway station by the Mayor and Mayoress, the town clerk, councillors and their wives. Their Royal Highnesses then motor to the Grand Hotel; evening free.' Friday, March 4.—At 9.15 a.m. Their Royal Highnesses will proceed to a civic reception at the band rotunda; guard of honour, presentation of address of welcome, and children’s gathering. Their Royal ’ Highnesses will drive slowly from the rotunda to the railway station, where they will join the train at 10 a.m. for Dannevirke.
