SCHOOL EXCURSIONS.

TO THE LOCAL SEASIDE On Friday next the Hokowhitu school will come by special train, to Poxton and thence to the seaside. On the 11th inst., Wloodville and district schools will arrive comprising 500 children and 200 adults. On the 16th inst., the West End school will make the trip comprising 450 children and 300 adults.

• The excursionists will be conveyed to the seaside from the railway per river launches and punts.
