HIGH COMMISSIONER’S CABLE. The High Commissioner's cable, dated the 24th inst., reads:—“Manila market dull, hut firm with ‘J grade afloat sold at £4B 15/- per ton. Stocks of New Zealand hemp in London on the 30th November were 11 tons, as against 98 tons at the same tiime last year. The tow market is slow on the basis £26 10/per ton for No. 2.”
