GAS WORKS

OCTOBER WORKING. The amount of gas manufactured during the month of Octoljsr, was 300,100 ft., which, with the ajnount in the holder on October Ist, 18,200 ft., made a total of 378,300 ft. The expenditure for the month totalled £222 2s Od and were thade up as follows: —Coal £9B 5s 10d, salaries and wages £4O 14s Od, services and fittings £8 14s 3d,.t001s £1 6s od, general repairs 13/-, meters £lO 3s Bd, cartage and freight £1 17s lOd, working expenses 15/9, interest and Sinking Fund £59 11s Bd.
