PRESENTATION.

Yesterday afternoon the parishioners of St. Alary’s Church took advantage of Alps Delany’s visit to Foxton to make a presentation to her in recognition of the services she rendered the church during her residence in Foxton. A social gathering was held in the Town Hall Slipper room and during the afternoon Rev. Father McDairmid, on behalf of the parishioners, presented Afrs Delany with a handsome dinner service and made eulogistic reference to the excellent work carried out by the recipient ns a, member of the choir and in connection with church matters generally. All’ AT. B. Bergin suitably responded on behalf of Mrs Delany. Afternoon lea was handed round and a most enjoyable social time was spent. Air and Airs Delany have now settled in Palmerston N.
