CHARGES AGAINST LORRY DRIVER.
Carterton, December 8
At the Police Court this morning before Justices, Charles Robert Leighton was charged with driving a two-ton motor lorry without the same being licensed. He was fined £5 and his driver’s license was cancelled for twelve months. Two further charges of driving a lorry without number plates and negligent driving were also preferred against him, and on these he was convicted and discharged on each.
