BOWLING.
To-morrow afternoon, weather permitting, lour rinks will visit Levin to try conclusions in a friendly round of howls. It was formerly intended to also compete for the Kinneberg Feathers on the .same day, but this is now out of the question, as a Shannon rink have lifted the trophies from the rink which so long held them for Levin Club. 1 The conveyance will leave the green for Levin at 1.15 p.m. sharp. Wednesday, 24th inst., has been suggested as the date of the first round of the Triangular Shield contest. Nothing definite has yet been decided, however.
