DEATH OF CENTENARIAN.
Auckland, Last Night. Adam McCullagh, aged one hundred years and eight months, died to-day. He was born in County Armagh, Ireland, and resided in various parts of Australia from 1857 to 1911, since when he has resided with his daughter, Mrs T. Impey, of Auckland. William Smyth, aged 125, believed to be the oldest man in the British Isles, was found dead in Dromara (Ireland) where he lived alone recently.
