MAORI CONCERT.

• An unique entertainment is to be given in the Royal Theatre on the night of November 11th, which should attract a large audience. The programme will consist of Maori items throughout and will include poi dances by the Otaki poi girls who performed before the H.R.H. the Prince of. Wales; Maori love scene and tribal reconciliation followed by a combined haka. The full details will be set out in a later issue. The organising is in the capable hands of M T. Ellers. The setting of the entertainment and dressing will be strictly in keeping with old Maori customs and will afford the public an opportunity of witnessing a faithful representation of Maori life before the advent of the pakeha.
