CYCLING ROAD RACE
A record entry of 23 riders has been received for to-morrow’s ten mile road cycle race. The riders have been training hard for weeks past, and a sterling contest is confidently anticipated. The race starts from the Post Office at 5 p.m. tomorrow.
The handicaps are as follows: — Knott scr, Short lOsec, K. Martin C. Huff, Simpson 55 sec, J. Smith, H. . Huff, D. Satherley, P. Honour Cssec, G. Coley 75sec, Cunningham 80see, W. Newth llOsec, Gupwell 120 sec, Marshall, Robinson 130 sec, I. Wright, H. Newth, G. Aldridge ISOsee, Newson ICOsec, Parfitt, E. Coley, J. Satherley slmin, Sharp 6 min.
Prizes will be awarded as follows: Ist, one month’s free pass to Royal pictures and Gillette safety razor; 2nd, suit ease.
