SWIMMING BATHS CARNIVAL.
A Masquerade Ball will be held in the ltqyal Theatre this evening, by the Citizens’ Committee. Prizes for best fancy costume, and for most original costume. Invitations not necessary. The Fibre Committee will hold a shop day on Saturday. Donations of goods received with thanks. A euchre party was held in Hamer's rooms on Tuesday for the I ibre Queen' candidate, a large number being present. First prizes were won by Mrs Broad and Mi. MilHams, 'second by Mrs Groome and Mr. Andresen, respectively. A euchre party was held in Perreau’s rooms last evening for the Sports Queen candidate. A large number being present. First piizcs were won by Mrs Roore and Mi. Hutchins, second by Mrs Caldei and Mr. J. Gup well.
