GLORIA SWANSON IN “STAGE STRUCK.” Gloria Swanson is a stage struck girl in a small country town in her latest picture “Stage Struck,” at the Town Hall to-morrow evening. She is anxious to make a name for herself because her boy is interested in actresses. With the aid of a. travelling showman her life ambition to get on the stage is realised, but with what results. Laughs are plentiful in this picture of_ which several reels are in natural colours and during which the glorious Gloria wears many wonderful gowns. On the same programme is a comedy “Mandarin Mix Up,” Scenic and Paramount News. Prices as usual. “Havoc,” a drama of war town society, setting forth a theory that an unscrupulous woman causes more woe than enemy guns, promises to give local picturegoers “something different” at the Town Hall on Friday and Saturday next. The big cast includes George O’Brien, Madge Bellamy, David Butler, Margaret Livingstone and Bertram Grassby. ROYAL PICTURES. During the taking of the scenes for the Tiffany production, “Morganson’s Finish” to be screened at the Royal Theatre to-morrow night, * a team of “huskies” were used in the various snow scenes. .While at rest, awaiting their turn for a scene, one of the dogs sprang for the leader and the snails and howls of the lighting animals brought the members of the company on the run. Miss Stewart 'started for the fighting “huskies” and with a word of command told the leader dog to stop and come to her. At the sound of Miss Stewart’s voice, the big dog hesitated, then stopped, and slowly came over to Miss Stewart.

Hailed as the finest film of the year, Metro-Goldwyn’s production, “Revelation,” will come to Royal Theatre on Friday. This picture, which tells the story of a girl model of the Paris Montmartre, who found her soul when posing as the Madonna of an old legend.
