LETTER INDICATES SUICIDE.

New Plymouth, August 23. The police have received a lettercard, signed Norman Gilbert, stating that the writer’s body will be found in Pukekura Park. The writer is believed to be a man of about 45 years of age, and was formerly farming at Fraser Road, South iaranaki, and latterly has been in business at Auckland or Hamilton. Gilbert had a relapse after an attack of influenza, which left him in. weakened health. A search is being made.
