TRAIN EXAMINER KILLED

Te Kuiti, August 13. A train examiner, R. S. McClatchie, was fatally injured in the railway yard to-day. It appears he was working under a single carriage, his hcest being crushed, ribs broken, and heart and lungs injured. He was sent to hospital, here, and died a few hours later. Deceased was about 35 years of age, and leaves a wife and two children.

An inquest will be held to-mor-row.
