“HOLD YOUR BREATH,” AT THE 'TOWN HALL.

Dorothy Devore the star in “Hold Your Breath,” at the Town Hall tonight is as full of clever stunts and 'comedy as Harold Lloyd. In the role of a young reporter she ■climbs seventeen s’torey buildings, disguises as a maid, an acrobat, and a few other tilings, gets into trouble with the police and Fire Brigade, insults the Mayor of the town and generally leads a speedy life. Walter Hiers, Tully Alarshall and Priscilla Bonner are supporting players in “Hold Your Breath,” a film that will keep the audience breathless with thrills and laughter. Other pictures are “Hit the High Spots” (comedy), Alovie Chat and Pathe Gazette. Usual prices.

On Monday “The Palace of Pleasure” will be shown, with Betty Compson and Edmund Lowe. “Control Yourself” (comedy), Variety, and latest Fox News. Usual prices. ROYAL PICTURES. What promises to be one of the season’s most spectacular and interesting films, is scheduled for the Royal theatre with the opening of the Universal-Jewel Mauripe Tourneur production, “Sporting Life,” to-night. The picture boasts scores of elaborate and thrilling scenes of London night life, horse races, prize fights, musical revues and what not. Bert Lytell and Marian Nixon head the cast, with a supporting cast composed of Paulette Duval, Cyril Chadwick, Charles Delaney, George Seigmann,' Ena Gregory, Kathleen Clifford and others. An exciting automobile race, with a bull fight, a prize fight or two and a goodly share of laughs thrown in for good measure are the chief components of “The Pace That Thrills,” a pulse-quickening and laugh-evoking First National picture which has been booked for showing on Monday at the Royal theatre.
