INDEPENDENCE ART UNION.
INGLEWOOD RESIDENT WINS £4,000.
The Independence Art Union, first prize of which is £4,000, was drawn by the Deputy-Mayor (Mr M. F. Luckie) in the presence of a very large crowd in the Dominion Farmers’ Institute last night. Following are the principal prize-winners: — First prize, £4,000. —L. J. Hunter, Wainui, Inglewood (No. 10131 B). Second prize, £2OO. —D. Neeve, 2 Huia Street, Onehunga, Auckland (No. 31704 J). Third prize, £IOO. —W. Thompson, Box 700, G.P.0., Auckland (No. 63290 A).
