OTAGO FARMER SENTENCED.

Dunedin, Yesterday. The re-hearing of the case against John William McLeannan, sheep farmer, of Miller’s Flat, who was charged with having stolen 493 sheep, valued at £675 4s Od, the property of George Lain and another; and (2) with having received the said sheep, knowing them to have been dishonestly obtained, was eon eluded before Mr. Justice Sim in the Supreme Court to-day. Accused was found guilty of receiving, and was sentenced to two years’ imprisonment.
