AX INNOVATION

The local Chamber of Commerce is providing something out of the ordinary on Monday, 16th inst., when it will entertain lady friends and representatives of the Palmerston, Marton, Levin and Shannon Chambers at a social evening in Perreau's rooms. Short speeches will be made by the visitors and musical and vocal items will be interspersed. The object is to bring the chambers into closer touch one with the other and to afford the ladies an opportunity of participating in (he gathering.
