SWIMMING BATHS CARNIVAL.
A reminder is given of the Farmers’ Committee dance to be held in the Masonic hall to-night. Hori George will supply the music. The winners of the competitions will be announced at the dance. The Farmers’ Committee are holding a shop day to-day. Competitions are in full swing and there is a fine display of goods for sale. On Monday night the Citizens’ Committee will hold a five hundred evening in Hamer’s Sample Rooms. Good prizes are offered and admission is only 1/-. . The Fibre Committee intend holding a euchre party in Hamer’s Sample Rooms on Tuesday evening next. Prizes for ladies and gents. This committee is offering an aggregate prize at the end of the season for both ladies and gents, so don’t miss Tuesday night. A dance was held in the Masonic Hall on Wednesday night for tho Citizens’ Queen candidate. There was . a good attendance and excellent music was provided by Mr. Jenson. A most enjoyable time was spent by all.
