SWIMMING BATHS CARNIVAL.

A reminder is given of the “’Ard Up” Dance to be held in the Masonic ITall this evening by the Sports Queen __ Committee. This should prove a very popular attraction. An enjoyable dance was held in the Masonic Hall on Wednesday evening for the Farmers' Queen candidate. During the evening a spot waltz was held, the prizes going to Miss N. Spring and Mr. Andrews. A box of chocolates was drawn and won by “Admiral Duffy,” No. 27. A euchre parly.was held in Hamer's Sample Rooms on Tuesday evening for the Fibre Queen candidate, and was largely attended. These parties will he held every Tuesday as from the 27tli of July.

An evening was spent in the Anglican school-room on Thursday for the Fibre Queen. Music and dancing were indulged in, and a pleasant time spent.
