THE SHANNON BRIDGE.

The chairman (Mr. Monk) stated nt Saturday’s meeting of the Horowheuua County Council that the chairman of the No. 9 Main Highways District Council had informed him that the plans of the whole of the super-structure of the new Shannon Bridge had been completed. The Public Works Department were .just waiting the result of the boring to decide upon the nature of the under structure and were then going on with the plans as fast as they could.
