A comedy of married life that . scintillates with newness —a human story that treats the marital situation and its hectic sequences from a laugh angle. That's what one linda in “The Trouble With Wives” a! the Town Hall on Wednesday evening. Someone once *aid, whether aptly or not, that the trouble with wives is, that they spend too much, flirt' too much, nag too much and wear 100 little and the picture proves it—the nagging part anyway. Tom Moore and Florence Vidor are the leading players. A comedy “Detained,” Scenic and News also. Prices as usual. An outstanding success in picture production is “After Six Days’ which is to be screened at the Town Hall matinee and evening, Friday only. ROYAL PICTURES. The George Fitzmauriec company used Pine Hills, near San Diego, for the first shots of “The Dark Angel,” featuring Ronald Column and Vilma Banky,-which First National is offering at the Royal theatre on Wednesday. The rolling hills of that section resounded with the winding notes of the huntsman’s horn, and echoed’ to the baying of the hounds, for Fit/.manrice staged a regular booming English fox hunt with all the trimmings, trappings and whatnots. Miss Banky the charming Budapest discovery ot Samuel Goldwyn, thus had an exhilarating introduction to American motion pictures, this being her first appearance before an American camera. In action she was called upon to do some extremely dangerous riding—even including some of the well known falls. She however, expressed herself as thoroughly enjoying the experience, and her skill as' a horsewoman will astound you as it astounded Hollywood.
