LOCAL REFEREE SUSPENDED. At a meeting of the Horowhenua Referees’ Association, held at Levin last night, Mr W. Neville, one of the most efficient referees in the Union, was suspended for suggesting to a referee while, controlling a fourth grade match at Foxton to be fair in his decisions. Mr Neville in--tends to appeal against the decision.
