TELEPHONE EXTENSION.
Yesterday afternoon the Postmaster (Mr. Newton), lineman (Mr. Clark) and secretary of the Foxion Chamber of Commerce made a tour of inspection of the Marotiri and Moutoa districts with a view to obtaining more subscribers for the Foxton telephone exchange. It is probable that as a result of the inspection some twenty new subscribers will be added to the local exchange.
