THE HEMP MARKET.
HIGH COMMISSIONER’S CABLE. The High Commissioner’s cable, dated 3rd inst., reads: Hemp, Manila market easier during this week. “J” Grade, July-September shipments sold at £39 10s; Sisal market is quiet but steady. No. 1 Tanganyika is quoted at £4l 10s. New Zealand is slow and nominally unchanged.
