The competitions held in connection with the Football Club’s Saturday shop day resulted as follows : Chocolates, M. Stevenson, No. 19; Fruit Dish R. Madigan, No. 31; Flour, Mrs A, C'ook, No. 36; Duffer’s cake, Mr. A. Cook, No. 32; Sheep, G. Reid 52|lbs., correct weight 531bs; Men’s Socks, C. Eveleigh, No. 78; Ladies’ Hose, Hazel Morgan, No. 45; Chocolates, L. H. Epson, No. 33; Salad Set, T. Heasman, No. 23. The takings for the day were £ll 0s 10id. Thanks were due to Mesdames Procter, Heasman and Stevenson, together with all the ladies who assisted, and also to those who made donations.
