WEDDING.
A quiet, wedding was celebrated at St. Peter’s Church, Willis St., Wellington on June 23rd. by the Rev. Mr. Watson, when Dorothy Myitle, only daughter of Air. and Mrs F. Spiers, of Wellington, and I'm marly of Foxton, was married to Ernest George., eldest son of Air. and Mrs G. A. Burling, of Oroun Downs. The bride who was given away by her father, wore a frock of pale pink crepe-de-chene. The pale pink veil was held in place by posies of orange blossoms, and her bouquet was of pale pink chrysanthemums and autumn leaves. She was attended by her niece, Aliss Lillian Ashmore, who wore a pretty frock of apricot satin and carried a bouquet of Autumn tinted flowers and leaves. Air. AY. Ashmore brother of the bride, carried out the duties of best man.
