HOSPITAL DAY.
This week Mrs Trask and Mr. Oakley, of Palmerston North, representing the committee set up to organise a hospital day throughout the district, visited Foxton and conferred with those assembled at tho annual Croquet Club meeting. The visitors explained that an effort was being made to raise funds to provide extra comforts for hospital patients. It was explained that tho method of raising money was by the sale of 1/- badges. The following loeal committee was set up: Mcsdames Perrean, Barr, Pearson, Downes and Miss J. Ross.
