BAND OF HOPE.
♦ The monthly meeting of the combined Band of Hope was held in the Presbyterian Sunday school hall on Friday night. There was a good attendance, thirty-nine children and eight adults being present. A programme of recitations, vocal and instrumental items was submitted by the children and Mrs McDonald gave a brief, but very interesting address on Temperance. • The meeting closed with hymn and Benedict ion.
