CONFLAGRATION .AT MARTON.

TWO MEN INJURED. Marlon, June 14. Fire early on Sunday morning gutted the Trocadero Boarding,house, an old two-storied wooden building, at Marton Junction. The seventeen occupants escaped in their night attire unhurt, except Mr Patrick Fogarty, aged 30, a railway employee, who was severely burned on the legs, and Mr W. J. Quinn, aged 42, labourer, who received internal injuries through falling to the ground from the top story. Both are progressing satisfactorily. The boardinghouse was owned by Mrs Wunscli, of Palmerston N. No particulars of the insurance are available. The damage is estimated at £3,000.
