HOCKEY CLUB SHOP DAY.
The local Hockey Club held a very successful shop day on Saturday, as a result of which the Club’s funds benefited to the extent of about £25. The competitions were won as follows: Iced cake: Noel Harkness; do., Mrs C. Fuller; dinner: W. Walls; sox: A. Davey; knickers: D. Desmoned, tray: M. Stevenson; 511). box chocolates: R. Rangiheuea; box chocolates: J. E. Tollison; do., B. Gower; do., C. Holland; poker work: Mrs L. C. Bryant; do., R. Heppner; cones: Mrs Moods; stockings: Mrs E. Cotter; dressing jacket: C. Morgan. The following will represent the local team against West End Old Girls on Easton Park at 2.30 p.m. to-morrow: — M. Stevenson, F. Wilson Mrs Arcus, M. Purcell, W. W]alls, N. Spring, R. Barber, B. Gower, M. Yertongen, L. Davey, M. Patterson. Emergency: N. Woods.
