For the motion picture special to break a world’s record for theatre admissions is unusual: for a film comedy to do so is unique! “The Navigator” did it. During the first week’s screening of Buster Keaton’s Metro-Gohlwyn feature comedy at the Capitol Theatre, New York, all existing records went by the board, and “The Navigator” stood out as the supreme piece of motion picture entertainment. That the honour was truly deserved may be seen at the Royal Theatre, when “The Navigator” will be screened to-night. Also Signor Probani Hanson, the celebrated tenor. The record cross country dash from San Francisco to New York made by Wally Van in an automobile for the filming of his latest starring vehicle, “The Speed Demon,” coming to the Royal theatre on Monday.
