HERD TESTING.

MEETING OF ASSOCIATION. A meeting of Die Rangiotu HerdTesting Association was held yesterday, Mr. W. 11. Gimblett presiding over a good attendance. Mr. B. J. Jacobs, the Association’s solicitor was in attendance, and outlined Die advantages of the Association becoming an incorporated body. After discussion it was decided that Die Association become an incorporated body. It was also decided to extend Die operations of Die Association to other districts and to engage the services of a practical organiser and secretary, who would also act as overseer. Messrs. J. Legg, Gimblett and J. Ferguson were appointed a committee to draw up articles of Association for approval. A provisional committee was elected comprising two members of each or Die present groups, and including Messrs. Gimblett, Fell, Scott, Farmer, Robin, Nicol, F. Woods, and S. Austin. It was resolved to impose a retaining fee of 5s a year, to cover a member’s default for that period. In recognition of Mr. Legg’s services as secretary, the meeting decided unanimously to vole him ail honorarium op £SO.
