KING’S BIRTHDAY.

The following hours will be observed: —Wednesday 2nd June: A delivery of all correspoud'ence including registered, will be made over the counter between 7 and 8 p.m. Thursday 3rd June: —Post and Telegraph jOffice will be closed all day. Telephone exchange will be open between 9 and 10 a.in. and 7 and 8 p.m. Mails will be despatched for Wellington, Palmerston N> and Taranaki and will be closed at 0.30 a.m. Delivery:— There will be no delivery by postmen.
