The annual meeting of the local Dorcas Society will be held in the Plunket room, Clyde Street, on Monday next, at 3 p.m. Elsewhere in this issue appears an advertisement setting out details in connection with an auction sale of household furniture of personal effects on behalf of Mr. E. Healcv who is leaving the district. Sale commences at 1.30 p.m. sharp on Wednesday, June 2nd.
