S.M. COURT.
MONTHLY SITTING. The usual monthly sitting of the local S.AL Court was held in the Courthouse yesterday, before Mr. J. L. Stout, S.M. BREACHES OF PROHIBITION ORDER. Charged with a breach of his prohibition order, E. Conn was fined £1 with costs amounting to 7/-. On a similar charge J. P. Tobin was mulcted in £1 and costs 7/-. G. Roberts and J. J. Tobin, each charged with supplying a prohibited man with liquor were.fined £1 with costs 7/- each. Both were allowed lime in which to pay the fines. BY-LAW CASES. • Mr. F. Smith, for allowing cattle to wander on the Moutoa Road at night was fined £5 with costs 12/-; Wai Tamihana on two charges of allowing calves lo wander on the Bainesse Road, was fined 10/- with costs 22/0 on first charge and a similar amount with costs 17/6 on the second. J. Fitzgerald on a similar charge was lined 10/- with costs 22/0; IV. Wialllnitton for allowing two horses to wander within the borough was fined £2, costs 7/-. 11. -J. Salmonds was fiined 10/- and costs 7/- for failing to register a dog. Judgbent was given for plaintlT by default in the civil undefended case, A. A. O’Leary v. J. R. McDonald, £9, costs £1 11s (id.
