ALL SAINTS’ CHILDREN’S HOME.
* ANNUAL MEETING OF SUPPORTERS. The annual general meeting of the supporters of the All Saints’ Children's Home was held in Palmerston North last night.
Reference was made as follows to the Beach Home: —
At present there live 2D children in this Home. During the year a change was made in managementship of this home, Mrs Murdoch having resigned and has been replaced bv Mrs Hammond and a new assistant Miss Barnard, who have made a great change in the improvement and welfare of the children in the Home. During the year Mrs Hammond suffered from an attack of diphtheria, and had to go into hospital, but fortunately there was no outbreak amongst the children. A vote of thanks was accorded Dr. Wyllie for medical attention at the Home, and to Messrs Madge Bros, for gratuitous rides to Foxton.
