AMATEUR CYCLING CLUB.
Considerable local interest is being evinced in the newly-formed Cycling Club. The secretary has received donations and trophies from the following:—
Rose Bowl, supporter; silver medal, Mr. J. Golder; cycle lamp, Mr. E. Booth; suitcase, Mr. G. F. Smith; half guinea trophies: Messrs. M. E. Perreau, J. K. Hornblow and R. Speirs; one guinea trophy, United Sports Association; 5/- trophy: Messrs Lay Bros. Racing enthusiasts are spending a good deal of time in practising and preparing for the forthcoming road race.
A general meeting of members and intending members will be held in Messrs Toms and Son’s garage at 8 o’clock this evening. A full attendance is requested.
